The DD Photography website redesign was created for ProtoThon 2025. The goal was to transform a traditional portfolio into a modern, gallery-driven experience that reflects the artist’s work in architecture, interiors, and lifestyle photography. The redesign focuses on minimalism, accessibility, and effortless visual storytelling.
The old website had limited structure, scattered navigation, and inconsistent image presentation. It lacked a cohesive visual identity and didn’t highlight the photographer’s artistic depth or project diversity.
I redesigned the full website layout in Figma, focusing on clarity and hierarchy.
Simplified navigation: Home, Bio, Works, Gallery, and Contact for direct access.
Visual-first design: A modular grid displays images without distractions.
Dark and light variations: Both emphasize photography without overpowering it.
Modern typography: Elegant serif paired with clean sans-serif for balance.
Enhanced usability: Smooth browsing flow with quick access to social links and contact options.
Strengthened the photographer’s online presence.
Improved portfolio navigation and viewing experience.
Established a clean, professional aesthetic aligned with luxury photography brands.
Presented her work in a way that communicates both artistry and precision.
